Leg Pain

The leg has many muscles, nerves and three main joints.

Any of these areas can become painful from arthritis, tendonitis or pinched nerves.

Pain that extends from the hip area and reaches the knee or foot is usually referred pain starting somewhere else. For example, from a pinched nerve in the back, or from severe hip inflammation.

Leg pain that lasts more than one day should be evaluated by a physician.
